VideoPro is recognised as the name behind leading audio visual technology solutions and service. We have an awesome and varied client-base, a great team, leading-edge products and offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. We are sole Australasian Distributors of ONElan digital signage and are Crestron NZ Dealer of the Year. At present we are looking for a technician to join our Wellington support team to assist with support calls, support level agreements and after-sale customer support.
The role requires a technical understanding of audio visual products and systems, projectors and computer related technology. This includes but is not limited to; diagnosing faults, liaising with suppliers, organizing and fitting replacement parts, routine and preventative maintenance, providing temporary solutions to customers and the set-up and operation of equipment.
You might be working in IT or another technology industry and want to transition to a role where you can learn new skills, work more autonomously and take on more responsibility.
The successful applicant will need to be:
- Well presented and customer focused - you'll be out-of-the-office dealing with customers face-to-face, solving their technical issues and offering solutions so they're up and running as soon as possible (you'll basically be a hero!)
- Exhibit a high degree of initiative and self-starting motivation - you'll be mostly autonomous and someone who manages a busy calendar with ease
- Have excellent communication and follow-up skills - you'll be scheduling your own calendar, talking and meeting with clients, reporting back around timeframes, working alongside our sales and admin teams and dealing with suppliers
You'll need to have a positive personable manner and the ability to work effectively autonomously and in a team environment.
Applicants with previous experience in the AV industry will be highly regarded however those with the right skills, active interest and technical aptitude should also apply. Full Drivers License required and SiteSafe Building Construction Passport a bonus.
To apply please send your resume with a covering letter to Rebecca Hutchison at [email protected].
Applications close Monday 30 July 2018.
