This role offers full time hours on a temporary contract basis. A valid OSH Forklift certificate is required.
Primary focus of the role is to ensure delivery of goods and merchandise to the correct destinations is timely and effective.
Physical labour will be a component of the role of a stores/warehouse worker and is crucial for the shipment and appropriate handling of goods and material.
Duties may include:
Being responsible for receiving, storing and shipping merchandise kept in warehouses. Loading or unloading merchandise while it is being received or when it is being shipped. May be required to keep records as goods enter and leave the warehouse through the scanning and checking of bar codes. Pick and pack the merchandise for outgoing shipments. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
