The Company:
Our client is a family owned and operated business located in Hamilton. They provide aluminium fabricated products to their clients in Hamilton, the greater Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Auckland regions. This company prides themselves on offering quality product and excellent service.
The Role:
We are recruiting for a person who is a reliable worker, eager to learn and physically fit to help as a Fabrication Assistant. Duties include but not limited to the following:
- Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm (workload dependent)
- Handle aluminium panels
- Operate power tools when required
- Cut, trim and fold material
- Use hand tools i.e. pop rivet
- Pick up and deliveries in company truck
- Customer Service
- Assist with on site installation as required
- Manual handling
- Clean and maintain workshop area
- Follow Health and Safety i.e. Workshop and Sites
Ideal Candidate:
- Able to work required hours/days
- Current Full NZ drivers licence
- Can drive a manual vehicle
- Health and Safety focused
- Physically fit
- Attention to detail is essential
- Follow instructions correctly
- Interested in learning new skills
- Can work to complete deadlines
- Reliable and adaptable worker
- Positive attitude and proactive nature
- Pass pre-employment drug test
