Our family business is based in Rosedale, North Shore and manufactures commercial aluminium roller doors, shutters, folding closures and trackless Overlap doors
An exciting opportunity is currently on offer to join our small close knit team as our Commercial Door Technician / Installer. Previous experience in the shopfitting, commercial door / garage door industry is an advantage, however full training will be given in our methods and practices. A comprehensive level of practical and technical skill for the understanding of our door setup and installation systems will be required.
Ideal skills and attributes:
- Building, engineering, aluminium joinery or mechanical background
- Thrive at working unsupervised, managing your team with the ability to oversee others
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Have excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic skills with an attention to detail
- Possess a high level of fitness as the work can be physically demanding
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills and high quality workmanship
- Take pride in their appearance and looking after the vehicle, plant and equipment
- Possess a clean current driver's licence
This position is responsible for providing high quality maintenance, repair and installation services. The job will require some flexibility in work hours. You will need to have a good understanding of health and safety, and be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
