The Role
  
The company seeks an experienced Product Development Technologist to pursue an exciting opportunity on the development of products especially for the export market, which is growing rapidly. The role reports to the Technical Manager with a strong interaction with the Sales Team.
  
The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

• Development of new products for export markets from concept to commercialization
• Prototype samples for prospective customers
• Establishment of documentation for products especially for export customers
• Cost saving projects for existing products
• Support for other Product Development and Production Staff
• Technical Support to the Sales Team

Skills and Experience

In addition, you will also have: 

• Tertiary qualification in Food Technology
• 3+ years’ experience of working in a Product Development role within the Food Industry
• Strong technical capability
• Good understanding of FSANZ and other Food Regulatory requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of HACCP and problem solving techniques
• History of being a team player
