Be Interested:

We're looking for a Data Scientists to join our growing Data and Analytics practice, where you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to develop custom models and algorithms to identify opportunities to drive business solutions.

Be Exceptional:

On a day to day basis you will:

• Use advanced analytics techniques to solve challenging business questions relating to optimising customer experience, generating revenue, reducing cost and managing risk
• Use advanced analytics / statistical techniques such as predictive modelling, machine learning, clustering, natural language processing and forecasting
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to datasets
• Process, transform and integrate disparate data sources
• Explore raw datasets, test hypotheses and draw meaningful insights
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business solutions
• Keep up with new trends in the industry and with the latest technologies for data manipulation

Be KPMG:

• Qualification in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
• 3 to 5 years hands on experience in a Consulting environment preferred
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SAS, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Prior experience preparing data for analysis, building predictive models and machine learning algorithms on large scale platforms, and helping to drive innovation into the modeling process/offerings
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work with cross functional teams to translate business issues into potential analytics solutions
