About the business
dnature diagnostics & research is a New Zealand-owned company that supplies PCR & qPCR reagents and equipment to universities, hospitals and CRI's. We are a unique business in that we also supply our own proprietary kits as well as having our own laboratory for DNA testing and research.
Our reputation is based on being the experts in all things PCR & qPCR and in providing great customer service and technical support.
About the role
The role will cover the Auckland/Waikato/BOP region as well as Dunedin so the ability to travel, when required, is important.
We need a person based in the upper North Island, who loves science and is able to build strong relationships with our existing customers. You will also have the ability to develop relationships with potential new customers.
You will be responsible for managing and growing our business
Ideally, you will have strong expertise in PCR & real-time PCR along with other DNA & RNA methods but you will be well supported by our Technical Manager.

Skills and experience
- Must have proven account management experience
- Minimum BSc Hons in biochemistry, molecular biology or a similar field
- Organised, independent, self-starter who is able to work in a team or independently.
- Good communication skills
