The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a technically savvy research technologist. You will be responsible for all aspects of product and process development from pre-formulation to commercialisation (utilising best practice procedures) for new products and the optimisation of existing products. In addition, you will develop and manage the shelf life monitoring programme and ensure product design and labels comply with the relevant market standards. You will regularly interface with sales & marketing, manufacturing, technical operations and other cross functional areas to achieve team project goals.

This role will allow you to utilise your skill and experience to make an impact and contribute actively to operational success. You will be guided by a knowledgeable and supportive team. This is a role you can really sink your teeth into!

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

• A relevant degree such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Science or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in product development in the Dairy, Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical industry an advantage.
• Practical experience in Design of Experiment is preferred.
• Competent in interpreting and understanding scientific and technical literature and reporting findings in application-orientated reports and presentations.
• A team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Detail orientated.
