We operate five packhouses and 35 coolstores for kiwifruit, avocados and feijoas on our 20ha site in Te Puke. For us, packing and storing fruit is personal. With over 1100ha of kiwifruit supplied to us from more than 300 KPINs, we now need an additional team member to manage our busy laboratory.
The main purpose of this role is to manage Trevelyan’s crop management and maturity testing programmes and the extensive data requirements that relate to it. This is a key role within our business and requires a team player who values attention to detail, accuracy and the culture of our company.
You’ll have:
- Exceptional leadership qualities
- Excel experience essential and database experience (preferred)
- Scientific or laboratory experience (essential)
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- A strong commitment to providing a high standard of work
- GIS mapping or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to succeed
