We have an opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs Advisor to join our team of dedicated professionals.  This role is all about providing regulatory support from product development through to product advertising to ensure our food & supplement products are compliant. We are looking for someone who has good, practical food regulatory experience including detailed knowledge of the ANZFSC code. Additionally, our successful candidate will be looking to extend their regulatory expertise into the supplement/complementary medicine area.  

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing specialist regulatory knowledge throughout the product life cycle
• Ensuring compliance of ingredients, products, product labelling, advertising and marketing materials
• Ensuring accurate information is provided for overseas product registration as required
• Interacting with a wide range of people and departments and demonstrating professional passion for the role and the product portfolio
• Enabling commercial deliveries whilst improving Vitaco’s reputation for compliance and integrity

To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following:

• Regulatory affairs experience related to food in the New Zealand / Australia market.
• A tertiary science qualification, preferably in human nutrition, food science, food technology, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• A meticulous eye for detail
