The Company:
Our client, a North Shore based company offers this great career opening as Technical Account Manager. The company is a leading supplier of quality raw materials and speciality cleaning chemicals representing global chemical manufacturers. The business focus is on understanding customer' needs, finding a solution and delivering a high level of customer service.
The Role:
Represents an opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and selling skills. After an initial training period you will manage and maintain customers in the areas of Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Craft Brewing, together with other manufacturers. Responsibilities will include all facets of sales; building customer relationships, researching potential opportunities and increasing sales via repeat business. You will also stay ahead of changes in technology, source new products and manage inventory.
The Brief:
We are seeking a motivated recent graduate with a solid knowledge of chemistry. It is preferable tthat you have attained 1-2 years commercial experience in a laboratory or customer services role with a strong desire to establish a career in sales. In depth training will be provided.

Ideally recent qualifications in Science together with sales or laboratory experience. A NZ Drivers Licence is essential.

A can do attitude together with a degree of resilience.

The ability to pick up concepts and apply them practically combined with attention to detail and administrative skills.

Excellent personal presentation together with the ability to relate confidently to customers.

Proven experience of working autonomously, sound computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
