Exporting to over 24 countries around the world, we operate in retail, parlour and foodservice channels. Our ice cream brands are iconic and are market leaders including New Zealand Natural, Killinchy Gold, Movenpick, Like Licks and Zilch.
In addition to producing and selling a wide variety of ice cream products under our own brands, we specialise in private brand development and manufacture for customers around the world.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager - Technical, this role covers all technical aspects including sample making and development, production trials, packaging changes and packaging regulatory and troubleshooting. You will be involved in product costings and specifications too, so numerical literacy is a must.
One of the great things about our team is that it's small, which means the roles are broad and you get exposure to lots of different things. What we lack in size, we certainly make up for in passion!
To be considered for this role you will have
- A Bachelor of Food Technology
- At least 2-3 years previous experience, ideally working within the dairy industry, with proven product development experience (this is not a role for a new graduate)
- Impeccable communications skills, both verbal and written (if you speak another language, that would be a bonus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
