Our Palmerston North Laboratory is one of our two New Zealand veterinary pathology laboratories focused on providing veterinary diagnostic services to veterinarians and related industries throughout New Zealand. We are seeking two part-time experienced, passionate laboratory technicians to join our multidisciplinary team in Palmerston North.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Two years’ experience in a veterinary or human medical laboratory position.
• A relevant science related tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.
• The ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Flexibility and the willingness to become multi-disciplinary in areas such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, histology, serology, specimen reception and molecular diagnostics.
• PC literacy skills and able to learn new systems.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must be available to work Monday to Saturday.
