We are seeking a Lab technician to join our laboratory team. You will need to be enthusiastic, proactive, with excellent communication skills and able to work both individually and as part of a team. Problem solving skills, proficiency with technology and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products are valued in this role.
Responsibilities include:
- To undertake groundwater and environmental monitoring, sample collection and surface geothermal measurements as required
- Carrying out sample analysis – chemical and microbiological
- Administering schedules for resource consent compliance monitoring and drinking water sampling and testing
- Documenting and reporting on sample quality.
- Seeing through all stages of testing for internal and external customers
You will be required to work rostered weekends.
Applicants must have a laboratory background and/or qualification in microbiology or chemistry. A full driver licence is required,
