We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join our team based at the Lincoln campus. Working as part of the Corporate Finance Team within our busy Finance & Business Performance group, the successful candidate work with a multi disciplined project team, providing financial and project management expertise supporting key projects.
Key accountabilities include:
- Managing financial and operational matters including processing and compliance and monthly reporting and variance analysis, particularly as they relate to our Future Footprint Programme (FFP);
- The preparation of reports to the Executive Team, Audit & Risk Committee and Board; and
- Helping embed risk management best practices into the organization.
To be successful in this role, you will preferably hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, hold an active CAANZ membership (or equivalent) and will have at least 5 years' experience in the accounting field. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a high level of computer literacy including advanced Excel skills. You will pride yourself on your high levels of professionalism and ability to balance the demands of the role to achieve results. Your strong commercial acumen, judgement and sound decision-making will set you up for success.
