Based in Airport Oaks, Watercare Laboratory Services delivers a range of quality scientific services to a wide variety of customers in the water, industrial and environmental fields.We have a strong reputation based on producing high quality results and for providing exceptional service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Carrying out client sampling programs
• Producing analytical results
• Maintaining quality systems
• Sampling from water and wastewater treatment plants and environmental monitoring locations around the wider Auckland region.
• Stocking shelves, disposing of samples, and preparing bottles
• Liaising with clients
• Weekend work will be required as per our roster system
• Ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

Requirements for this role are:

• NCEA level 2 in a science subject and/or strong practical and fieldwork skills
• The ability to operate independently with an emphasis on reliability and compliance with quality standards
• A current full drivers licence for a manual vehicle, sound driving skills and a reasonable knowledge of the Auckland region
• Good written and oral communication skills
• A reasonable level of physical fitness as some moderate lifting is required
