The Role: What This Opportunity's All About

Our Anatomical Pathology Department is looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician with a positive, helpful attitude to join us in our mission of providing a high quality service.

Part of the Canterbury Health Laboratories and based on the campus of Christchurch Hospital, the Anatomical Pathology Department is made up of a team of Medical Laboratory Scientists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Path Assistants, Pathologists, and Registrars.

You'll be working for the largest medical laboratory in the South Island which is also a major secondary/tertiary referral centre with a varied and challenging case load. We have a modern and well-equipped lab including a good range of specialist equipment.

This role is junior/entry level appropriate.

*Please note the lab operates Monday to Friday 7am-6pm, hours of work to be negotiated within these hours.
