The opportunity
Waste Solutions aspirational goal is to achieve Zero Waste by 2040, turning Auckland’s waste into resources. We strive to be at the forefront of waste management practice across Australasia and we are constantly looking for innovative ways to improve services and reduce waste going to landfill. This graduate programme is a unique opportunity to gain exposure and experience in the dynamic field of Waste Solutions, within a team focussed on making Auckland a wolrd-class city.
In this two year programme, you'll have the opportunity to rotate through key teams within the Waste Solutions function, which may include Customer Enhancement, Waste Planning, Resource Recovery, Waste Enterprises and Refuse and Waste Contracts and Compliance.
About you
To be eligible to apply, you must have the following:
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand, or be eligible to apply for a Post-Study Work Visa
- A relevant Bachelor degree or postgraduate qualification obtained in the last two years, or be a current student and graduating before the end of January 2019.
Ideally, we are looking for graduates with a tertiary qualification in a relevant subject, such as Environmental Science, Business or Commerce, Education, Arts or other related discipline.
