Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to work within a highly recognized organisation based in Wellington CBD.

Your new role
You will be working within a consulting team which works with organisations of all sizes and industries, aiming to help clients transform their business through creating improved workflows and synergies across their day to day operations. We are looking for a talented, payroll savvy SAP HCM Consultant to join the Wellington office. Ideally you will have a proven background implementing SAP HCM Payroll solutions and a strong understanding of best practice business processes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Advanced functional configuration skills in SAP HCM Payroll module/sub modules - payment cycles, process, gross pay, wage types etc.
  • Subject Matter Expertise on New Zealand best practice Payroll processes. Past experience as a Payroll advisor or Payroll Manager would be highly beneficial.
  • Delivered at least 1 full lifecycle SAP HCM Payroll implementation locally or internationally. Greenfield experience will be advantageous.
  • Possess excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels from users to CxO.
  • Ability to effectively extract key commercial requirements (AS IS / TO BE) and translate to functional/technical specifications (and vice versa).
  • Ability to facilitate change management processes and user adoption activities.
  • Consulting experience is a must, a background with a large Tier 1 consulting organisation is ideal.
  • Demonstrate an ability to act as a role model, supporting and aligning your team to the strategic objectives, to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and budget using the latest tools and techniques.
