About the role
With their much loved accountant heading off on maternity leave they are looking for a true accounting star to come in and fill her shoes for a six month period. This is a nice varied role which enjoys a lovely team environment but also a good level of autonomy. Reporting in to the Director you will be responsible for the following:
* Accounts payable
* Accounts receivable
* Overseeing smooth running of oursourced payroll
* Monthly reporting
* Tax calculations and payments
* Adhoc accounting tasks supporting the business
The role works closely with the senior management team so has is a great opportunity if you enjoy the day to day accounting functions as well as having the chance to give meaning to the numbers to key stake holders in the business.
About you
As this is a sole charge role you will need to already have excellent accounting experience within the New Zealand market at a medium to large organisation and be someone who really takes ownership and considers yourself a pedantic when it comes to getting it right.
