About Ryman Healthcare
Ryman owns and operates 32 comprehensive care retirement villages throughout New Zealand and Melbourne. We continue to grow, and have an extensive landbank including 10 new
large-scale villages currently under construction and a further 11 village sites in the design or resource consent phase. Our new villages are significant, multi-level developments that provide much needed care and independent living options to retirees.

About the Role
Our inhouse development team manages all aspects of a new village’s development until construction starts onsite. This includes new site acquisition, design, community consultation and obtaining resource consent.
As part of the development team, this intermediate role will initially focus on helping obtain resource consent for new villages in the landbank, as well as village extensions and refurbishments. The successful candidate will work with our inhouse architect’s and help manage a range of external consultants to achieve resource consents.
The role will provide exposure to other development disciplines including site identification, feasibility, acquisition and design. There is unlimited career growth for someone who fits in with the team and recognises the team’s success is key to the overall success of Ryman.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 0830 - 1700.
About You
Ideally you will have experience in consenting large scale developments and managing external consultants. A background in RMA law, planning or property would be beneficial but not essential as we are willing to invest training in the right person.
