We are a local, medium size agricultural company focusing mainly on fertilisers and stock mineral supplements.

We require a full-time staff member located at our office in Mount Maunganui, who can provide accounting and management duties at an intermediate to senior level, reporting directly to the CEO.

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparing monthly accounts for 3 entities to board level, including annual budgets & reporting based on actuals.
• Preparing and filing of GST and any other IRD requirements.
• Administering the office day-to-day activities with two direct reports.
• Timely and accurate administration of management reporting and other accounting support functions for three entities within the group

Skills and Experience:

• A tertiary accounting qualification is preferred but not essential.
• QBE – ‘Qualified By Experience’ is the minimum requirement so candidates need to have a CV which demonstrates significant and relevant NZ commercial accounting support experience.
• Experience using MYOB Advanced is preferred but also not essential.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and MS Word skills are a minimum requirement.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, as well as excellent numeracy skills are essential.
• Familiarity with perpetual stock systems & experience in the agricultural industry an advantage.
• Self-motivated, competent in basic accounting and office management processes.

Remuneration based on level of experience.
