Our Client is looking for an experienced Manager to lead their payroll team based in Christchurch, New Zealand
About the role:
This person will be responsible for a large number of staff being paid accurately and on time. This person needs to be focussed on the people whilst also having excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to a high level with systems and processes.
Duties:
• Leading through change
• Relationship building and regular communication with internal staff members
• Managing processes to ensure information is processed accurately and efficiently
• Providing guidance to the team to ensure the smooth running of work
• Problem solving to make systems and processes more efficient if needed
Skills and experience:
• Previous experience in a high level payroll position
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident with your knowledge around legislations and laws
• The ability to use technical systems and databases accurately
• Previous experience leading a team
