Quinovic Property Management based in Whangarei have an opportunity for a dynamic Senior Property Manager to take over an existing portfolio of residential properties in the region.

About the Role

In this role you will  work as part of a supportive team ensuring all property management services are delivered in a manner that meets or exceeds the expectations of all owners and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with property owners and tenants
  • Undertake rental appraisals and any other property management tasks that may be required
  • Advertising of new listings and vacant properties
  • Quarterly Inspections
  • Identifying, organising and coordinating repairs and maintenance as required
  • Managing all queries in relation to properties and processes
  • Monitoring and acting on rent arrears
  • Finding and placing qualified tenants
  • Monitoring rent levels in line with market conditions and undertaking scheduled rent reviews
  • Attending Tenancy Tribunals as required
  • Any other property management tasks as directed

To succeed in the role you will need:

  • A successful track record in property management preferably at a senior level
  • A confident and personable nature with excellent customer service skills
  • To be results driven with the ability to handle high workloads under pressure
  • A confident and personable nature with the ability to build and nurture professional relationships
  • To be driven and tenacious with the perseverance to deliver results in a competitive marketplace
  • A good understanding of the NZ Residential Tenancies Act.
  • A clean New Zealand driver’s licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills
