About the business

We are a small and busy Manukau based general practice firm specialising in property law. Our office is very handy to public transport and there is staff parking available so it will suit someone looking to ditch the long commute across town and work locally closer to home. 

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary with in-depth knowledge of residential conveyancing and a good familiarity with other aspects of general practice (wills, estates, commercial) to join our team. If you can demonstrate that you have at least 5-7 years experience in conveyancing and you are currently in a role where you use your expertise and organisational skills to manage a hefty workload of transactions each week, we would love to hear from you.

This is a role where you will be working closely with the Principal of the firm who will provide support when required but you will be expected to handle the day-to-day running of the file.  Attention to detail and prioritising your workload is essential to this role.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must and you will be extremely proficient in using MS Office suite (Word, Outlook and Excel).

You will also be assisting the Principal with other matters such as Wills and Trusts on an as needed basis.
