Your new role
- Prepare monthly divisional financial results
- Experience in manufacturing, construction or facilities management
- Overall responsibility for job and general ledger codes directly relating to your divisions
- Responsibility for calculation and reconciling of monthly WIP, accruals, CFA’s balance sheet accounts
- Review and approve monthly claim in conjunction with Manager
- Provide support as required to assist in resolution of both internal and external audit questions and processes
- Prepare budgets & re-forecasts
- Provide job analysis to divisions as per requests
- Prepare monthly management reports for assigned contracts
- Provide analysis of results and investigate variances
- Discuss results with Branch / Operations / Contract managers and assist with queries / issues
- Prepare financial and non-financial reports
- Provide business support and advice to Managers, and Operation / Contract Manager and Administrator as required
- Assist administration staff with accounting based queries
- Ad hoc project work as required
- To identify and participate in development opportunities
- To undertake other duties as directed by the Senior Management Accountant in a timely and accurate manner

What you'll need to succeed

- Management Accounting experience
- Experience in managing General Ledger
- Hold a Finance Qualification (CA qualification desirable)
- Advanced Excel Skills
- A knowledge of Accounting Systems
- Strong reconciling skills
- High level of professional and personal integrity
- Enthusiastic about learning
- Strong attention to detail
