Our Wellington office is currently seeking a Director with at least 8-10 years experience and a strong technical background in either valuations or financial modelling to join our Corporate Finance team.

Within our Deals practice, the Corporate Finance team assists clients to solve a variety of complex problems across the deals cycle including valuation and commercial advice, financial modelling, transaction lead advisory services, business cases and everything in between. Above all, we seek to build strong long-term relationships with our clients and be an advisor they can trust.

Located in the heart of the capital in our brand new building, the Wellington office offers an enviable variety of work across local and central Government, large corporates and smaller private businesses. The diversity of the assignments you will encounter will provide you with a fresh and exciting challenge, as well as the opportunity to broaden your network.

What you need to bring to this role:

• At least 8-10 years relevant experience and a strong technical background in either valuations or financial modelling
• Excellent commercial acumen and deep industry knowledge that will enable you to identify and influence opportunities in the market
• A strategic and analytical approach to solving problems, with the ability to see both the big picture and the detail
• Leadership skills to run large and complex assignments and take responsibility for high quality deliverables across all aspects of an engagement
• A willingness to coach others and create opportunities to support the learning and development of our team, whilst being a trusted sounding board to our business leads
