Dixon & Co Lawyers is a newly established boutique law firm and we are looking for a talented junior lawyer to join our small team.  The team at Dixon & Co Lawyers strive to work in line with the whakatauki (proverb): Kia whakatomuri te haere ki mua - Walk confidently forward into the future by looking to the past for guidance.

 

The successful candidate will be assisting a range of clients, including iwi, hapu, trusts and individual clients in the following areas – Maori Land Law, Te Tiriti o Waitangi claims and Resource Management.

We are seeking:

 A Junior Lawyer with:

  • 1-3 years post admission experience
  • Experience within the key areas in which Dixon & Co Lawyers practices is preferable
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • some proficiency in te reo Maori and tikanga Maori and be a confident advocate.
  • A full drivers license and prepared for travel
