The opportunity is with a longstanding, medium sized firm in Christchurch with a large client base. They mainly act for small to medium sized businesses, rural and private clients. They are a friendly, approachable and down-to-earth bunch and are well-known for their supportive culture and their commitment to their employees’ professional development.
Their Trust and Estates team falls under the big umbrella of their Commercial team giving you access to specialist support including on property related transactions. The team is headed by two Partners, but on a day-to day basis you’ll be working closely with a Senior Solicitor and a Solicitor on estate and trust administration matters.
To be considered for the role, you’ll be a solicitor with 18 months to 4 years’ experience in private client matters or you’ll be a Legal Executive with proven experience in trust and estate matters. It goes without saying that to be successful in this role, your people and client management skills will be second to none.
