Our client is a mid-size CA firm located in a popular Central Auckland/city fringe location.

Over the years this progressive chartered accounting practice has established a strong brand associated with professionalism, business success and consistent performance.

While the firm is widely recognised for the partners’ leading expertise in a niche sector, they have diversified their expertise and today their clientele is truly diverse.

The firm’s growth has continued for many years in terms of fee base and the number of staff working here has more than tripled since firm was founded.

Due to the sustained growth and newly identified opportunities for further expansion, the opportunity has arisen for a graduate accountant to join our client in a newly established entry-level role.

We are looking for a fresh graduate with an accounting degree and ready to start their professional studies towards a full CA designation.

Due to the level of the role our client is looking for career-minded individual with long-term aspirations in the chartered accounting sector.

You will have strong academic background (with an average grade of B+ or higher – very important!), outstanding written and verbal communication skills (essential!) and a drive to succeed in a structured, policy and procedures driven work environment.

In return for your strong academic record and commitment to developing a successful long-term career in CA, you will be offered great training, mentoring and full management support for your studies towards CA qualifications.

Reporting to a manager (and often directly to one of more partners) you will be exposed to all of the firm’s clients and will benefit from working with all partners.

 This is a rare opportunity at this level in the current job market. The firm has a history of promoting their staff from graduate to partner level from within the team and the opportunities for career progression are unlimited.
