This is a very stable and highly regarded team and so for there to be an opening, is quite rare.  It has come about as the team does some future planning to ensure success going forward.

The wider team has three partners who work closely across a range of litigation matters, but this role will work directly for the partner who specialises in large scale

It would be hard to argue that the firm is not a leader in the field and its accolades for this area of work are many. You should expect to deal with challenging, complex and high profile matters at home and, in some cases, off-shore. 

This role will suit you if you are at senior solicitor level and looking to take a step up. That may be in level or quality, reputation or support. Academics will be important, but won't be the be-all-and-end-all if you show the right experience and attitude.
