Role:
Junior to intermediate litigation solicitor. All the hallmarks of a quality litigation role, plenty of scope to grow as you further hone your litigation skills. Excellent support and opportunity to work autonomously too. Potential to act as junior Counsel and Counsel. Outstanding Court opportunities. Work closely with the litigation partners.  Be the key ‘go-to’ junior counsel who works closely with the Partners on larger litigation matters whilst also having the opportunity to manage and run your own cases as you further develop your skills.

Specialist commercial litigation firm in Auckland’s CBD. High level of expertise, profile, and client-centred philosophy. They look for individuals who are driven, ambitious and enjoy working on complex matters. The subject matter of the litigation is diverse ranging from commercial disputes involving breaches of contract, property and trust disputes, regulatory investigations, advising clients on statutory demands and some cases are in the public eye. 

You:
Ideally, you will have strong academics with 5 years' experience (more or less) in general commercial litigation and this may be from either a top tier firm or a well-regarded mid-tier or boutique firm.  You will be someone who thrives on stimulating work and who enjoys research, drafting and preparation of opinions, pleadings, briefs of evidence, affidavits and submissions as well as advocacy.  You will be confident, reliable and willing to learn.  You will have chosen litigation as your career and have a clear vision of where you are going, however for a number of reasons you may not be able to achieve this where you are.
