Our client, a mid-sized CBD law firm, with a supportive and inclusive culture, is looking to appoint a Junior Trust Accountant to work alongside the firm's Management Accountant. This is a great opportunity for a smart individual who sees a career in this area and would particularly like to work within a legal environment. The role offers plenty of room for growth and development.
Some of the key areas of responsibility attached to this role would include:
- Processing all trust account transactions
- Preparing cheques/ electronic transfers for settlement
- Preparing daily banking and manage use of the ASB online professional trust system
- Processing investment deposits and withdrawals
- Reconciling trust account on a daily basis
- Reconciling and preparing month end reports
- Entering bills into the system
- Maintenance of client matters including time recording adjustments and office expense charges
