At Ando, we’re taking a fresh approach to the way insurance works in New Zealand.  We’re looking for a strong leader to step into a newly created role as Commercial Sales Manager.  If playing a crucial role in a business and being part of a brilliant team excites you, then we’d like to hear from you.
  
You will be client focused and inspired by building strong relationships. It’s essential you have prior leadership experience and feel comfortable managing a team of 6 BDMs, creating development plans for each staff member and supporting their delivery. You’ll have technical and market-facing expertise within a commercial underwriting role, and have a strong understanding of the New Zealand market and emerging trends.

Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you’ll be:

• Looking after important broker accounts
• Ensure all risks are underwritten and accepted within authorised limits.
• Developing your team and identifying methods to improve “effectiveness”.
• Delivering reports as required on work allocation, turnaround timings, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Support GM, and BDM’s with Broker complaint management.
