The Business Programme Manager of a large ERP business wide project is seeking the support of a senior finance manager, to help ensure the robustness of a set of new finance group processes, and to ensure the successful uptake of the new finance and shared services group framework/model. Your capability may be used in a number of ways - including as direct support to this programme or backfilling in various financial control leadership roles.
Working in a large respected commercial business, you will act as a catalyst for change, working across the finance/shared services group, ensuring communication and adoption of new financial management processes and responsibilities (much of these are designed, but now require robustness check), helping embed best practice, eliminating tasks and processes that don't fit with the new model, and supporting the efficient and enthusiastic adoption of the new system functionality. Or you may be acting as Shared Services Head, or Manager of Group Accounting etc, with the same targeted outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you must be a fully qualified accountant. You must have strong corporate financial leadership experience, where you have led teams of accountants and others. You must also have solid experience in change and ERP implementation, gained in a large corporate environment. You must still be very hands-on in your work, enjoy a variety of problems to solve, have strong relationship management and positive influencing skills.
You will work with an excellent group of colleagues, who are all working towards the go live date of this impactful ERP system. You may be required to travel occasional to Australia and Asia, as the groups finance function acts as a shared service resource for a multinational group of businesses.
