About The Opportunity

As a key role within BP you’ll own our Fuel volume Demand Forecasts across NZ, encompassing multiple supply points, hundreds of service stations and truckstops as well as business and bulk fuel customers. You’ll partner closely with multiple internal stakeholders to predict future fuel demand and understand business strategies, plans, performance and trends. You’ll become a proactive, trusted advisor - turning data into insights and applying healthy critical thinking to your analytics.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to apply your analytical thinking and demand forecasting technical knowledge, as well as the opportunity and space to exercise your stakeholder management and influencing skills. You’ll be the single Demand Analyst in our business and therefore seen as a leader within the demand space - this is a great opportunity to take the next step from your currently analyst role.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of BP’s Demand Forecasting model and outputs.
  • Reporting & monitoring of performance and forecasts.
  • Ad-hoc channel or product volume analysis to identify risks or opportunities.
  • Contentious improvement focus and initiatives.

About Your Experience

You will be an experienced, highly motivated analyst looking for a role to really sink your teeth into and an opportunity to make an impact. You’ll be experienced in SAP APO or equivalent tool, as well as knowledgeable in Excel, and experience with Tableau would be an advantage but not essential. Experience within transport, supply chain, manufacturing or similar will be highly regarded.
