About the role

The Product Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Product Compliance Manager and Product Managers.  Providing critical support by being accountable for coordinating and collating all regulatory and compliance obligations for disclosure documents, ensuring these are met in a timely manner across both our Contemporary and Legacy products suites within our superannuation and investments portfolio.

You will be responsible for coordinating and working with other internal AMP business units to ensure that the product compliance guidelines are met as well as assuming personal responsibility for allocated reporting, and engaging with, key stakeholders. You will need to utilise your strong attention to detail skills as well as your relationship management and time management skills to influence and ensure that deadlines and processes are understood and achieved in a timely manner.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Advanced attention to detail skills
  • Developed interpersonal skills, including influencing and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal guidance and ambiguity
  • Proactive approach and able to conduct thorough investigation and analysis
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, but also consider the practical and commercial issues
  • Completing and documenting the required activities to ensure the Due Diligence policy is being adhered to
  • Tenacity and the drive to see projects through to completion.

Success in this role will mean that you have seamlessly coordinated and delivered on all the necessary documents and data to meet the regulatory and compliance obligations prior to the agreed deadlines.
