First Assistance provides Emergency Assistance to international travellers and expatriate workforces worldwide. We are the New Zealand market innovator in our growing industry.

We continue to grow our Travel portfolio and need an experienced Case Manager to join our team. We are dedicated and passionate professionals who make it our mission to help people solve problems.

Working with our busy Assistance team, you will solve complex problems using smart, innovative, outside the box thinking. You will be part of a down to earth, close-knit, supportive team who work hard. This is a full time role, working a fixed 12pm to 11pm shift on a 4 days on 4 days off basis.​

You will:

  • Work with global workforces
  • Provide assistance with medical, travel and logistical cases
  • Arrange Repatriations and Air Ambulances
  • Carry out Risk Management
  • Communicate regularly to all stakeholders

You will be Degree qualified, have some experience with case management within the travel or medical industries and be well travelled - with 195 countries in the world, personal knowledge of some of them is an asset.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Can do attitude!
  • Professional communication and problem solving skills
  • High levels of resilience and empathy
  • Positive team player with good collaboration skills
  • Self-motivation, confidence, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Fluency in a second language would be advantageous
