Working alongside the founders, this part-time role (25 hours per week) will see you form part of our senior leadership team - so excellent communication and a strength in strategic thinking is a must. With a specific focus on timely financial management, you will oversee all financial matters for both New Zealand and the U.S.A. As such you will need to combine big picture perspective with an eye for detail.
So what will the role involve?
- Providing advice and information to the General Manager and Directors on financial matters
- Consolidating company forecasts and reporting
- Cash management and reporting
- Financial accounting for both New Zealand and the U.S
- Preparing budgets
- Monthly and regular reporting and analysis
- Financial year end preparation for external accountants
- Cash management and reporting
- Completing returns
So who/what are we looking for?
- An accounting degree qualification or equivalent (or internationally recognised equivalent)
- CA an advantage
- Previous commercial accounting experience
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills
- Great strategic thinking
