Your duties will include:
· Quoting/Sourcing new business opportunities
· Ensure that the client's risk management and insurance broking programmes are sound to ensure the delivery of high-quality services & advice
· Sourcing renewal quotes & The gathering of client information to support renewal documentation
· processing endorsements and cancellations
· Assisting clients with a wide range of inquiries & claims as required
· Assist with business strategy planning
· Assisting other brokers in their advice
· Setting up new policies, process finance agreements for policies that are paid monthly, send out proposals and follow-up as necessary
· Credit control - assist the broker to ensure premiums are collected within the required time frame
· Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and other key stakeholders (internal and external)
Why are you the best candidate for this position?
· You have experience as an Account Manager/Commercial Broker gained within the insurance or insurance broking industry;
· FSP Registered Broker
· ANZIIF qualifications preferable & any other relevant qualifications (degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business, or Finance)
· A minimum of 8+ years fire and general insurance experience, with commercial and domestic brokerage
· Sound oral & written communication skills, a secondary language will be added advantage
· Excellent report writing and correspondence skills
· Ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines and work under pressure
· Valid NZ Full Licence
