Rydges Rotorua is on the search for the next big thing in Hotel and Hospitality Management. Being a Night Manager means you will be responsible for all the hotels operations overnight. Managing 135 rooms, restaurant and up to 300+ guests is no small feat and requires the right person who is dedicated and passionate about their future within the industry.
As a Night Manager, you would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Ensuring the smooth operations for the hotel overnight
- Ensuring the highest possible satisfaction levels for all guests when staying in the hotel
- Endeavouring to protect all revenue for the hotel both from a cost and income perspective
A Night Manager must also:
- Have a keen eye for details and cleanliness
- Must look and act in a professional manner at all times
- Be a reliable team member
- Be able to instantly build a good rapport with guests
- Be friendly and approachable
- Be able to lead by example
- Be able to deal with conflict situations and resolve matters quickly and professionally
Persons who are applying the role of Duty Manager should have
- Full New Zealand Drivers License
- Be a New Zealand Resident
- Manager's Certificate and a recognised LCQ certification
