Sous Chefs, Career starters
Our 2 Flag Ships will each need someone to step into the ever important role of Sous Chef to support our successful Head Chefs and teams. Regatta Bar and The Lula in is waiting to welcome a new Staff Member.
We are looking for applicants who share our passion in serving awesome food, great beers and wine in a fantastic atmosphere.
These positions require you to have a minimum of two-three years’ experience in a similar role and will require you to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- An understanding of both food and wage costs
- Be happy to lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence
- Strong technical cooking skills in all sections of the kitchen
- Staff supervision, leadership and training skills
- A hands-on approach to getting the job done
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a busy environment
- Good personal hygiene
- Honest and reliable
- Able to work well as part of a team and be a team player
- Great communication skills
- Well organised with good time management
