We are an adventure tourism company whose brand is recognised around the globe. We are seeking a fun energetic assistant manager whose personality reflects our brand and company ethos.
We are a small business so the duties of the Assistant GM are wide and varied. Duties include team management, office admin, overseeing repairs and maintenance and most importantly ensuring we deliver an outstanding customer experience across all aspects of the business. You will need to be able to work at the front line and be able to roll up your sleeves when required. This position is NOT for a desk jockey. Some weekend work will be required.
This is a great role for someone who wants to take their career to the next level. We offer onsite training so this is a great opportunity to gain a formal tourism qualification while working. The successful applicant will have a strong customer service focus, be able to think outside of the box, handle a diverse range of duties, motivate team members and lead by example.
We are looking for someone to bring a fresh approach to our business and contribute to our small dynamic team. Previous tourism experience is an advantage but is not a game breaker.
You must be a NZ resident, have a full drivers license and be able to work some weekends.
