A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Porter to join our fun, loyal team at Sudima Christchurch Airport in a permanent capacity.
Our Porters hold a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable stay at our airport property. You are the first point of contact as guests arrive at our property ensuring they receive a warm welcoming smile, help with luggage and orientation and often you are the last point of contact ensuring they depart with fond memories of their stay with us.
An important part of this role includes guest drop off and pick ups from the airport in our courtesy vehicle.
If you like a role with plenty of variety and enjoy looking after people and ensuring you make the guest experience enjoyable this is a perfect opportunity for you to enter our industry as no day will be the same. This position is 32 hours per week.
In order to be considered for this role you must:

Hold a full New Zealand driver's license.

be flexible to work rostered shifts over a 7 day week including AM (7.00am – 3.30pm) & PM (3.00pm – 11.30pm) with the occasional night shift (11.00pm - 7.30am)

Have an excellent command of the English language, (both verbal and written)

Be professional in your personal presentation and work ethic.

Have a good knowledge of Christchurch and the surrounding area.

Be able to provide exceptional guest service.

Have an outgoing and warm personality.
