Our client is a household name here in the Waikato, they are looking for someone to join their team.
This position will involve food preparation and cleaning – bulk cooking experience is a plus as the successful candidate may be required to cover the current cook if they're absent or sick.
Pastry/Baker experience is a plus!
The Role:
- Food preparation
- Help out in all areas of pie and sausage roll making
- Machine operation
- Pie filling prep and cooking
- Cleaning/Washing Dishes
- Quality control
- Heavy lifting
Days & Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 7am start (during the busy period - as early as 4am)
The Ideal candidate will:
- Have experience with bulk cooking
- Be an all-rounder that has the capability to adapt quickly
- Needs to be flexible, as there could be extra hours e.g. earlier start - later finish)
- Be able to work in a team
- Be reliable and punctual with a great attitude towards work
- Have their own reliable transport to and from work
- Be able to start work ASAP
