This is a key role with a new brand by Langham Hospitality Group  in Auckland. Bring your experience of reservations to a  assist our hard working and heartwarming Cordis Reservations team in  achieving the revenue potential.

Directly responsible for a team of 4 FIT Reservations Agents and 2 Group Reservations you must be capable of managing our room inventory efficiently and effectively,

This is a fast paced and demanding role in an exciting environment that will soon grow to be NZ's largest hotel.  We require a highly talented and motivated individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. An understanding of online distribution is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote revenue generating opportunities by enabling a culture of showing the guest the best the hotel has to offer
• Oversee day to day operation of the Reservations Team to ensure exceptional customer service
• Analyse reservations call patterns with a focus on conversion rates
• Support Director of Revenue to ensure operation runs within the financial framework
• Manage inventory in 3rd party systems 
• Encourage and maintain customer feedback and action accordingly
• Maintain all standards of the Mystery Shopper

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Due to the requirement to fill this role as soon as possible only applicants already eligible to work in NZ will be considered.
• Minimum 5 years' hotel experience
• Must have previous Revenue or Reservations or online distribution experience
• University graduate preferred, hotel or statistics disciplines
• Excellent skills in PC based application programs including OPERA
• Excellent written and verbal communication required
• Has previous success in managing a team
