Our client is a very busy, 7 day a week, daytime only Café located across from the main beach in Mount Maunganui. They are looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor or Barista for a full time, permanent role. You will work 5 days a week, 35 to 40 hours and this will include weekends and public holidays. You will excel at customer service with a positive, welcoming personality and a can-do attitude. You will need to be a strong team player who is able to fit into an established team and hit the ground running, it’s a busy place! You will need to have * You must have good experience in making large volumes of quality coffees in a similar cafe. * For the Supervisor role – experience managing a small team of front of house staff * Have a high standard of presentation and excellent communication skills. * Be self-motivated with sole-charge capability, honest and reliable * Able to cope in a very busy environment, even in the winter season. * A liquor licensing Managers certificate or LCQ would be an advantage but isn’t essential. * Able to work in NZ with no visa restrictions.
