ABSL (Auckland Basketball Services Limited) is shared services company registered with the Charities Commission established to provide sports management, administration, development and social opportunities on behalf of our stakeholders Basketball Auckland Inc. Counties Manukau Basketball Association and Waitakere West Auckland Basketball Inc.
We are looking for a qualified and industry experienced Finance Manager who is looking for a part time role (15 - 20 hours per week) to manage our Finances in partnership with our MYOB contractors and Invoicing Manager.
You will oversee the management of the relationships with MYOB and our Invoicing Manager to ensure that the finance team is efficient and effective in the delivery of day to day operations.
ABSL Finance Manager Key Responsibilities
- Produce Annual Budget
- Produce Annual Cash flow Projection
- Provisions of Financial (Accounting) Reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Stakeholder (Shareholder) Investment Management and Reporting.
- Product (Service) development and management including forecast analysis, pricing, expansion concepts.
- Finance system adaptation to incorporate automated functions through online platforms.
- Funding Grants and Investments reconciliation and reporting.
- Payroll – Fortnightly review of time sheets and batch payments (IRD, PAYE and WT functionality is outsourced to MYOB Contractors)
- Invoicing – Fortnightly invoicing preparation (Invoicing functionality is outsourced to MYOB and/or Invoicing Manager)
