Pavlovich Coachlines has been part of the New Zealand coachline transport industry for 80 years and are currently seeking a hand on operation manager to join our charter teams.
We are looking for:
- strong day to day operational running of the charter division.
- Proven flexibility with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced travel environment.
- Manage the driving pool to make sure we have enough driver to cover all our fleet and ensure that all new drivers are fully trained to carry out their specific roles
- Establish and maintain outstanding working relationships with all stakeholders and clients
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are fully implemented, adhered to and communicated so that all drivers are working to the company values.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of team.
- Attention to detail, highly organized, and self motivated.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on collaboration and leading by example.
- Planning and organisational experience within a customer focused business.
- Ability to maintain consistency and high levels of service delivery.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- The ability to problem solve.
- A clean New Zealand drivers licence, bonus if you have a class 2 or 4 and P.
- Ability to work some weekends.
Your skills:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operational setting
- Sound knowledge of operational policies, systems and procedures.
- Proven experience of setting up and maintaining workflow and administrative systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Great at using technology including Microsoft products.
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent team working/managing skills.
