At Melba we are committed to creating the best customer experience through serving great food, excellent coffee and fantastic customer service. We are currently seeking experienced Shift Managers and Baristas to join our Company as part of the management team.
We have a few locations to choose from, please specify which areas work best for you.
Our Melba cafes have a fun and energetic atmosphere with friendly customers, contemporary food and professional service.
This is a hands-on position suitable for an energetic, positive and enthusiastic customer orientated person, who is looking for a challenging and rewarding position in the hospitality industry.
You must possess a "can do attitude" and the ability to manage a high traffic cafe.
To be considered for the role you will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Relevant hospitality management experience in a cafe or restaurant
- Excellent barista skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- People management skills
- Staff development through motivation and inspiration
Barista experience is as well as exessential as well as experience with ordering and stock management.
Enthusiasm, flexibility and a strong command of written and spoken English is also essential to being a successful candidate.
Excellent rapport with customers is essential as well as a real passion for serving food and beverages.
